Coventry Schools F.A. was founded in 1894. An impressive 114 years of Schools Football.

We have four Representative sides, U12's, U13's, U14's and U15's.

Until recent years, we also had an U16's side, but decided that, as it is such an important year educationally, ie GCSE's etc., it would not benefit the players to have this added pressure.

Our players are selected from 18 affiliated Secondary Schools and play against other Representative sides from the West Midlands as well as in 3 Cup competitions.

We have had several of our players play at Schoolboy International level, namely,
K. Elkin, Alf Dewis, Graham Parker, Ian Muir, Rob Jones, Mick McGinty & Steven Clancy.

Three former players, Graham Alexander (Preston & Scotland), James Quinn (Peterborough & Northern Ireland) and Reg Matthews(England) have won full International caps.

Former players currently active in the Football League are Gary McSheffrey, Marcus Hall, Craig Pead, Luke McCormick and Ian Evatt.

Our Head Coach, Phil Nardiello, has been appointed to the coaching staff of the England Schools' Under 18 team as Assistant Manager.

Hopefully we will spend many more years helping to develop young Coventry players to play at a good level of football.
